NATIONAL ACTIVE SCHOOL WEEK 2017
The pupils and staff of The Harold got really active during
National Active School Week from 24th – 28th April.
We had the pleasure of welcoming local Olympic silver medalist, Annalise Murphy, to The Harold recently. Annalise addressed our assembly and gave our pupils a very inspirational speech about her path to olympic success. Annalise was very friendly and down to earth – she spent some time meeting our pupils, chatting about sailing and posing for photographs!

We celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge in style this year!
Bhí na ranganna go léir an-ghnóthach i rith na seachtaine. Bhí ár bpáistí ag labhairt Gaeilge, chan siad amhráin agus bhí siad go léir ag damhsa sa chlós ag an gcéilí mór.
Ghlac gach duine páirt i dtaispeáintais sa halla freisin.
Seachtain thar barr a bhí ann!

The Harold Active School Mascot – well done Ella Harford on winning our competition to design an Active School Mascot – You did a great job! Watch out for images of ‘Tapa the Tiger’ around our school – Tapa will remind us to keep active as Béarla agus as Gaeilge mar – is feidir le Tapa Gaeilge a labhairt freisin!!!
