Gaelbhratach

Tá an Scoil Arailt an brodúil as an dhá Gaelbhratach atá againn. Is scéim scoile í seo dirithe ar scoileanna ina múintear trí mheán an Bhéarla chun labhairt na Gaeilge a chur chun cinn. Tharla a lán gníomhaíochtaí i mbliana agus táimid faoi gheall sa scoil seo ár gcuid comhrá Gaeilge a spreagadh agus a fheabhsú. Cuirfimid fáilte roimh aon dhuine a bhfuil suim aige i labhairt na Gaeilge teangmháil a dhéanamh linn.

There is a strong emphasis on poems, songs, games and skipping rhymes using spoken Irish. In the months of October and November all classes take part in mixed class yard games. These include some games played through Irish. We also encourage the use of our wall games through Irish, with prompt cards available to expand the vocabulary.

4. Amhrán na Bhfiann

All assemblies begin or end with the National Anthem. Children up 2nd class are encouraged to sing the chorus only while the older children sing the verse and chorus.
